Saturday Pony Days!
Our pony days run every Saturday. For ages 6 years and over - Parents/adults are welcome to join!
We offer half days or full days:

Morning session 10am-12.30pm £42pp
-
Afternoon session 1pm-3.30pm £42pp
-
Full day session 10am-3.30pm £75pp
-
Half days include 1 hour of riding ( a 30 minute lesson in one of our arenas, followed by a 30 minute woodland ride out to explore the countryside).
Horse care and yard activities are practiced in the sessions:

Grooming - how to use each part of the grooming kit.
-
Learn how to tack up (saddles and bridles)
-
Mucking out - Keeping a stable up to standard
-
Lots of activities to learn all aspects of owning a pony and how to care for them!
Full days also include all of the above and 2 hours of riding.
There is no commitment for our sessions, Just book as you go!



From complete beginners to advanced riders who can jump!
Our Saturdays sessions are open to all ability riders. Groups are split up per riding ability.
Beginners: We welcome riders from complete beginners. Pony day is the perfect start to your horse riding journey! Learn how to groom and care for your pony before you ride. Beginner lessons teach riders the basics:

How to correctly hold the reins

Riding position

Steering the pony
-
How to halt and walk on.

Rising trot
-
How to ride off the lead rein when the rider is ready!

Once riders are happily trotting off lead, instructors will advise when ready to start learning canter.

Moving up the groups!
As riders progress in their ability, they progress up the riding groups.
Novice riders- Novice groups teach riders the canter basics.

Advanced
Once the riders are comfortable and confident in their canter work, they then move into the advanced group!

For the riders who wish to jump, jump lessons are also an option!

We have 30 brilliant horses and ponies to suit ever rider. From small ponies to 18hh horses, they are all ready to help you progress in your riding skills and most importantly - to enjoy the sport!
